Nissan Philippines reported total sales of 4,634 units in the first quarter of 2026, maintaining its position as the fourth best-selling automotive brand in the country.
Demand remained strong across key segments, led by the Nissan Navara with 1,268 units sold. It was followed by the Nissan Terra at 1,250 units and the Nissan Livina with 746 units. These models continue to anchor the brand’s presence in the pickup, SUV, and family vehicle segments, which are among the most in-demand categories in the Philippine market.
Other models also posted notable gains. The Nissan Patrol recorded a 270% year-on-year increase, reaching 322 units sold, while the Nissan Z rose 808% year-on-year with 109 units sold, reflecting growing interest in premium and performance-oriented vehicles.
Electrified offerings also contributed to the brand’s performance. The Nissan Kicks e-POWER registered a 171% month-on-month increase in March, indicating rising acceptance of electrified mobility. Meanwhile, the Livina sustained steady growth, posting a 5% year-on-year increase with 636 units sold.
Despite challenges such as rising fuel costs, Nissan said it maintained its market position through a balanced product lineup and continued customer demand.
The company is also expanding its dealer network to improve accessibility. New dealerships have opened in Calamba, Laguna, and San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, with another facility set to open soon in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Nissan Philippines said it is preparing to introduce more electrified models as it broadens its lineup, aiming to offer more options that combine performance, technology, and everyday usability.
Now that said, it seems the Nissan N7 will be coming here very soon as the Primera, but how about the NX8?
