TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - K-pop titan BIGBANG is gearing up to drop a new digital single titled "BiiiG" to mark its 20th anniversary.

In a report published by South Korean news agency Yonhap on Monday, August 10, YG Entertainment stated that "BiiiG" reflects BIGBANG's present artistic landscape as the group celebrates two decades in music.

"We hope you look forward to another musical spectrum from BIGBANG, which has built its own musical world over many years," YG Entertainment said.

Scheduled for release on August 19, 2026, the single will mark BIGBANG's first release in four years and four months. The group had been on hiatus since dropping the single "Still Life" in April 2022.

Having debuted in 2006, BIGBANG rose to become a trailblazer among second-generation K-pop groups, securing global stardom.

Throughout their career, BIGBANG has produced a string of megahits, including "Lies," "Last Farewell," "Haru Haru," "Fantastic Baby," and "Bang Bang Bang."

Alongside their musical comeback, BIGBANG—now comprising G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung—will launch their latest world tour, "XX: Cosmos," at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, northwest of Seoul, on August 21–23, 2026.

The tour will feature 33 shows across 19 cities in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Jakarta is among the designated stops, with a concert slated for January 16, 2027.
