Owner Leaves Dog Alone for ‘1 Hour,’ Can’t Believe What She Sees on Camera

A pet parent wanting to check in on her dog couldn’t stop laughing at what the camera revealed staring back at her.

The dog’s owner, who runs the Instagram account @urfavbeaniebaby, was off at work when she couldn’t help but take a sneak peek at the pet camera, which she shared in an August 2 video. She wanted to check in on her small dog, Beanie, who was home alone for “1 hour.”

The first image the owner saw was an empty dog crate, which prompted her to move the camera and look around the house. Waiting for her was Beanie. The pet camera nearly hit the dog’s face, as Beanie stood as close as possible. Turns out Beanie was “spying” back on the owner.

Beanie stood frozen when the camera moved toward her direction. It had only been an hour home alone, but the look on her face made it seem she was up to something. Acting innocently, she sniffed the camera, but the dog realized she had been caught in the act.

Beanie then turned around with her back toward the camera as if she had done nothing wrong. Or she was giving her owner the cold shoulder for leaving her at home all alone.

“I was at work and just started laughing so much,” Beanie’s owner told Newsweek. “She has such a sweet, if sassy, personality, and this is such a good video that sums up how she is!”

But it wasn’t the only video Beanie’s owner captured of her spying. She shared two other incidents of when her dog noticed the pet camera in action. Beanie paused once again after noticing the camera was moving. She stared straight back.

Another clip showed Beanie hopping on her hind legs to get close to a pet camera that appeared to be on a shelf, out of reach of her prying paws.

Viewer Reactions

The Instagram video had amassed over 1.2 million views as of Monday, with viewers flooding the comment section with their hysterics.

“Beanie was like ‘I swear I seen this thing move’ but she is so adorable,” wrote one person.

“Looks like she was waiting for you,” another commenter said.

“Just get a work-from-home job already,” a third person commented.
