Kia Philippines is highlighting its growing electrified vehicle portfolio at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), showcasing a mix of hybrid, electric, and fuel-efficient models designed to meet the evolving mobility needs of Filipino motorists.

“Kia is actively redefining the way Filipinos move by bringing the future of driving within immediate reach. From advanced turbo hybrids, pure electric vehicles, and fuel-efficient fuel-powered crossovers, our latest lineup offers a diverse range of inspiring mobility options that fit perfectly into modern lifestyles,” said Jay Lopez, managing director of Kia Philippines.

Advanced Turbo Hybrids

Kia

Leading Kia’s hybrid lineup are the Carnival Turbo Hybrid and Sorento Turbo Hybrid.

The Carnival Turbo Hybrid combines MPV practicality with an electrified powertrain, offering what Kia describes as “Everyday First Class” mobility.

Meanwhile, the Sorento Turbo Hybrid brings hybrid efficiency to the seven-seat SUV segment, targeting families seeking a balance of comfort, practicality, and reduced fuel consumption.

Kia’s Electric Future

Joining the hybrid models are Kia’s latest battery-electric vehicles.

The recently launched Kia EV5 offers a claimed driving range of up to 550 kilometers and features smart regenerative braking, Vehicle-to-Load capability, Drive Wise driver assistance technologies, and a spacious cabin.

Alongside it is the flagship Kia EV9, a full-size electric SUV that combines three-row practicality with advanced technology and premium features.

The Sonet Continues to Drive Growth

Also featured at the show is the Kia Sonet, one of the brand’s best-selling models in the Philippines.

Targeted at first-time buyers and young professionals, the compact crossover combines fuel efficiency, a technology-focused cabin, and accessible pricing.

Previewing What’s Next

Kia also provided a preview of the upcoming Sportage Turbo Hybrid ahead of its Philippine launch in July. Visitors interested in the model may register through the Kia website or visit the Kia booth during PIMS.

The company likewise confirmed that the Kia EV3 compact electric SUV and Kia PV5 electric van are scheduled to debut in the Philippines, expanding Kia’s electrified ecosystem.

PIMS Offers

Kia is offering exclusive PIMS promotions, including discounts of up to PHP110,000 on the Kia Sonet, PHP450,000 on the Kia Carnival SX Diesel, and PHP220,000 on the Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid.

“Kia’s showcase this year is about offering mobility that moves with you. Whether it is transitioning fully to electric with the EV5 and EV9, embracing the seamless efficiency of our Carnival and Sorento Turbo Hybrids, or enjoying the smart, spirited drive of the Sonet, we are making forward-thinking mobility closer and more rewarding for every Filipino,” added Lopez.
