Jurrien Timber is pushing to prove his fitness ahead of Arsenal's Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Dutchman has not played since mid-March but trained this week and has flown with the squad to Budapest.
Arsenal have an open training session on Friday evening and Mikel Arteta will also address the media to provide an update on Timber's fitness, but the Gunners are desperate to have him fit to play up against Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
With Mikel Merino now available again and Timber potentially in contention, Ben White is the only confirmed absentee for the Gunners.
If the match comes too soon for Timber, it will likely be Cristhian Mosquera tasked with filling in at right-back.
In midfield, Myles Lewis-Skelly has been preferred to Martin Zubimendi in recent weeks and could get the nod on the biggest stage.
Martin Odegaard is looking to become the first Arsenal captain ever to lift the Champions League trophy and he is likely to start, even if that means Eberechi Eze having to settle for a place on the bench.
Leandro Trossard has returned to the form he showed earlier in the season and is favourite to line up on the left wing.
Up front, there is a big decision for Arteta to make. Viktor Gyokeres has stepped up over the past month and is Arsenal's top scorer with 21 goals this season.
However, Arteta has often turned to Kai Havertz in the big matches and with the German now fully fit, he could be the one to lead the line in Budapest.
